A reality the beauty industry does not talk about enough: in the U.S., only a small percentage of plastic waste is actually recycled. A recycling symbol on a bottle does not guarantee it will be recycled. It simply means the material may be recyclable under the right conditions.
Aluminum is different. It is infinitely recyclable, and recycling it uses far less energy than producing new aluminum. That creates a more circular path than conventional plastic packaging.
Our refill bottles are made with glass and finished with a fully recyclable aluminum cap. It is packaging that can more meaningfully return to the loop. Your original pump or dropper is meant to stay with you + be used again.

How do refills work?
When you’re ready to reorder, select the refill option on the product page. Your refill arrives in a glass bottle with a recyclable aluminum cap. Simply transfer your original pump or dropper, recycle the bottle + cap, and you’re good to go.
Are refills available for all products?
Yes, all full-size skincare products are included in the refill program. Lip oils are not available as refills.
Why should I avoid rinsing my pumps + droppers?
Water is one of the most common ways bacteria enters a skincare product. Even a small amount of moisture left in a pump or dropper can introduce contamination to your fresh refill, shortening its shelf life. Leaving your pump, dropper, or lid in place until your refill arrives — then swapping directly — keeps everything clean and your skincare performing at its best.
Why glass + aluminum packaging?
Glass is the most inert packaging material available — meaning it won't interact with or compromise your skincare formula. Paired with a recyclable aluminum cap, it's also infinitely recyclable. Unlike plastic, which degrades with each cycle and is rarely recycled in practice, glass + aluminum can loop endlessly. It's the purest choice for your skin + the planet.
Is the formula the same?
Yes, completely. The only difference is the packaging. Same plant-powered formula, same botanical actives, same results.
Why is the refill $2 less?
Because you’re reusing your pump or dropper, we’re passing the savings directly to you. Less packaging = less cost.
Do refills qualify for loyalty rewards?
Yes — every refill earns points just like any other purchase. Because doing good should feel good too.
What do I do with my lid, pump or dropper?
Keep it on your empty bottle until your refill arrives. Lids, pumps + droppers are durable by design. To preserve the shelf life of your product we don’t recommend rinsing your pumps + droppers since water can get trapped inside them.
What do I do with the empty refill bottle?
Glass bottles + aluminum caps are both fully recyclable. Rinse the empty glass bottle/jar + swap the aluminum cap from your refill to your empty bottle. Recycle curbside.
What if my pump or dropper is worn out?
If your pump or dropper has seen better days, you can still select the non-refill option when you are ready to restock, which comes with a new dropper or pump.
